I'm going to say it again: I miss the ease and versatility of 3DS Max CAT layers.

@mattheweboehm remember Maya layers have two modes override/additive and you can also add constraints to layers for nice effects.
@bclark_cgchar I've been using mostly additive with a base pose on the base animation layer.

@mattheweboehm override layers are very powerful to take a base move with existing start/end poses and create a few variants quickly. -
