Feel this a lot. I really want to get in to games but have a feeling of being crushed by my own expectations.

Its tough sometimes. I really enjoy doing game animation but its not always creatively rewarding. That can be demoralizing too. Sometimes its OK if its just a job. The possibilities of it still excite me even if I'm feeling burned out these days.

Feeeeeeeeling this. Been using other creative outlets to try and make up for it in the meantime. Very hit or miss.

Same same. Very hit or miss. I also have dozens of abandoned hobbies that I keep saying I'll get back to.

I feel this. This whole year has been rough. Plenty of time home, but little motivation to make much of anything peoductive.
-
For real. I want to do more animation but I also don't want to sit at this desk any longer. I need an outdoor hobby. (Aside: your bio made me laugh. I'm from the Dayton area and got out as soon as I could.)

Same, trying to claw out of the hole this week, but man is it tough to gain momentum!

Not sure if this helps but I was feeling something similar. I was searching around youtube and found this "draw the same thing for 30 days" idea. I've started on it right before bed - drawing the same subject in a slightly different way each time. Going good so far!

You are animating every day at work I would imagine. Whatever you need to do in your free time to refill your creative battery is up to you. I’m sure you have found creative outlets or influences beyond personal animation work in that time :)

Not really animating at work. Nature of the project at the moment. What I do is usually super rough for testing. Learning a lot of other stuff though. That has its own reward. Getting back to animating soon though. My main outlet outside now is playing bass.
