Share with me a lyric from a song that you find especially terrible. For me, it's this one from Everclear's "I Will Buy You A New Life": "I will buy you a garden Where your flowers can bloom I will buy you a new car Perfect, shiny and new." Double use of "new" drives me nuts.
That makes me think of a line from my favorite Owls song, “Everyone is My Friend.” I first thought the line was “I danced dirty then got shy and had to go home early” but actually it’s “I danced early then got shy and had to go home early.”
