@PoodleTime Hey man! Random question for you about DoomFist. =)
Do you know if there was a gameplay reason why DoomFist doesn't do his regular punch attack with his huge arm? Always wondered about that.

Hey Chris, so we talked about this during development & felt that when he used his doom hand it should be an extra powerful punch. The regular ingame melee punch only does normal damage so should be done with his non-doom hand. (am I remembering this correctly

Yep! Unlike other melee heroes he only uses that fist for abilities. Normal "Quick Melee" damage is slight so there's a disconnect with your expected impact vs what you're getting from his huge fist.

You can argue (and I have) that Reinhardt should just do a normal hammer swing on "quick melee" press the way Brigitte currently does. Just let that button do the same as left click. Doomfist isn't really a melee hero like that though.

Gotcha that makes sense. I've been playing Doomfist recently and every time I use his regular melee I always have this little disappointment when I see the tiny hand. The image of him punching with tiny hand when he has a massive hand always makes me grin as well...hah.

Admittedly it is pretty funny. We totally could've gone the other way and it would've been fine. I do like the 1-2 punch combo you can get from it though.
