I don’t know MEL very well & I need some help. I’m want a hotkey to toggle object selection masks for joints on/off. I can do it manunally with ‘selectType -j true;’ or ‘selectType -j false;’ and I thought simply using ‘selectType -j;’ would toggle yet it demands an argument.

Can also change selection priorities in preferences.. sometimes it is enough to make sure the mesh is above the skeleton in the outliner since it controls eval order. Also making sure that you are not in between component and object mode use f8 capacity right click select verts
