I’d use micro manchines or hot wheels to force perspective as Spider-Man looked down upon the city (from the arm of our couch.)

Some of my first animations as a kid were made with my 12” articulated Spider-Man & Doc Ock toys and a camcorder that couldn’t do single frames. I’d hit record on and off as quickly as possible and end up with poses from 3 to 7 frames each. Wish I could find those VHS.

I did this too! When I had enough shots I’d watch the animations using fast-forward on the tv vcr to bring them up to speed

Haha! It’s not the best way to animate but you have to do what you have to do.
