I’m enjoying my dive into VFX. I’ve had the honor of working closely with some very talented VFX artists on both Overwatch and BioShock Infinite. It’s important for me to learn a little more of their language (like what the hell fresnel is.) I should look at sound design next.

This is cool! What are you focusing on? Is it animation related like cloth and hair, or are you going full tilt with explosions?

Starting here: https://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/tutorials/introduction-to-visual-effects-for-games-in-unreal … it’s a good overview. Then I might try some explosions.
