Another MoBu question: Is there a way to increase the selection area of a Null/Locator? When using 'x-drag' to align to a locator it feels like I have to be pixel-perfect to select it.

Honestly I'll x-drag from the Viewer onto the Null in the Navigator most of the time, but you can scale it up.
Aligning in the nav window is good solution thanks! I don't see where one can scale the selection area of the null. I can scale the length of the locator arms but not their thickness which would allow easier selection.

Navigator is your friend! Alternatively, use markers and scale them up instead of using locators.
