Hi! I have a new graphic novel about teens in the 90s getting their lives turned upside down by the early internet. It’s in stores now!

A stack of copies of the graphic novel “incredible doom“ sits on a display shelf in a bookstore.

Looking at comics from the 90s with detailed line art and slapdash colors. I remember thinking “The artist clearly spent a lot of time on this page, couldn’t the colorist have done the same?” Realizing now the answer was “No, BECAUSE the artist spent so much time on it.”

There’s very little wondering what a particular scene is going to turn out like left.

This book is getting really close to being what it’s going to be.

Actual thought I just had: “Hey, all I’ve got left to draw in this book is the stuff that has to be really impressive visually.”

Over the course of making Incredible Doom Vol. 2 there have been a million times I’ve thought “Okay. That’s tricky. I’ll tackle that later.” Guess what I’m doing today?

If it wasn't for many of us wouldn't know how to make comics. Here's footage of him teaching:

When Steve Jobs died, 10 years ago today, I was working at a store that sold primarily Apple products. A woman called and told me “I don’t really need anything. I just wanted to call and say how sorry I am.” I got what she meant.

Been drawing pages that are like none I’ve done since the 90s. I can’t tell if that’s a good or bad thing.

If you are having trouble with your mask fogging up your glasses I think I’ve found a way to keep that from happening! It’s a very clever trick, we just need everybody to get vaccinated and that problem goes away.

Friends! Strangers! Enemies! I am about to hit the end of a long-term contract and am looking (somewhat frantically) for work; and YOU SHOULD HIRE ME. Here's why: (thread; 1/)

I forgot to mention this in my iPadOS 15 review, but this is a *fantastic* addition to the Files app for iPad: The new 'Go To Folder' popup. Press ⇧⌘G to activate it, and it even supports ⇥tab to autocomplete. I love this.

Taking the time to tweet about it has put me behind schedule again however. So back to work.

Just checked my schedule for Incredible Doom Vol. 2 and realized that, today, for the first time since starting the project, I’m *ahead* of schedule. I literally gasped.
