Making time to rediscover the joy that comes from learning new things and chasing down knowledge is one of the best "self-care" things I've ever done for myself.

This morning I woke up and read a book for my book club for a couple of hours, and I currently have a bunch of hobby computers and microcontrollers scattered around me while I furiously Google why one of the little touchscreens I just got isn't working.

I know a lot of the little coding projects I'm doing are only a few steps removed from "Hello World"-ing, but the excitement of getting my middle-school-level spaghetti code to do what I want it to is such a friggin' thrill to chase.
