State Bar examiners should be using this as an opportunity to re-examine their testing procedures so that testers are tested on how we actually practice law. Move to 50% essay, 50% practicum, online and open book. There is no "closed book" version of the legal practice.

I like to take three unrelated matters then churn out as much legal analysis as I can in three hours without looking anything up. I then submit what I wrote to the three clients and get ready for the imminent malpractice lawsuit.
