    To folks who haven’t met Ridley and think she’s sad in this pic, she’s not - it’s her face! Shar Pei, Lab, and Siberian Husky mix to make a piercingly despondent gaze. She likes the mountains and cold from other trips we’ve been on, so we’re excited to see if she likes camping!

    Ridley’s hiking boots and bag came in today and the bag fits her sleeping bag, bowls, and a couple days of food. Can’t wait to take her on her first backpacking trip!

    Games Twitterverse, I need your collective experience - what’s your favorite moisturizer with sunscreen? Bonus points if it plays nice with combination/oily skin. If I have to read another super gendered article recommending Jack Black or Kiehl’s Facial Fuel I’m gonna lose it.

    I ordered a touchscreen for a home project and after fighting with the touchscreen for days I thought I was just too dumb to get it set up. Ordered a new one in case the old one was defective. 5 minutes after it arrived, success!!!

    I know a lot of the little coding projects I'm doing are only a few steps removed from "Hello World"-ing, but the excitement of getting my middle-school-level spaghetti code to do what I want it to is such a friggin' thrill to chase.

    This morning I woke up and read a book for my book club for a couple of hours, and I currently have a bunch of hobby computers and microcontrollers scattered around me while I furiously Google why one of the little touchscreens I just got isn't working.

    I am a huge proponent of transparency in the game industry. Information secrecy means the onboarding process for anyone wanting to participate in the industry is slow (or impossible). Some of the reactions over the past day+ have done nothing to inspire more companies to step fwd

    Another weekend, another backpacking trip. 10 mile overnight loop to Beartrap Camp on the Gene Marshall - Piedra Blanca Trail. No other cars at the trailhead, and we didn’t see a single hiker all weekend.
