The challenge for Feinstein's staff is when she misspeaks, she doesn't mumble or just say yes when she means no. She speaks very clearly: "We are a Republic, based on the will of the people-- the people should judge." But it's not the party-line, so staff walks it back.
When she criticized Pelosi for holding the articles she said "If we’re going to do it, she should send them over. I don’t see what good delay does." I just wonder who the heck controls the purse strings of the political donors. It may not be head in a pike but an empty political fund pressure.
