I'm trying to move my YouTube account to a brand account so I can add managers. For some reason they are removing my custom URL. Does anyone know if I can get it back after making the change? @TeamYouTubepic.twitter.com/ySeyFbawBO
You can add location information to your Tweets, such as your city or precise location, from the web and via third-party applications. You always have the option to delete your Tweet location history. Learn more
Be prepared not to be able to get it. For example when I changed my channel name I couldn’t get /mattihaapoja only /Mattih. They said it was too generic
I didn’t follow the logic.
Shit. I probably need to make this change regardless of the name change.
Good question! Typically yes, you can get it back. But we do reserve the right to reclaim custom URLs. See the Custom URL terms and Help Center for more info: https://goo.gl/ruFcXC . Hope this clarifies.
