Y’day did painting in CBD then went to Newtown to buy coffee supplies .. End of day went to a talk abt media and press freedom given by w which was about a possible press freedom law system.
Did watercolour painting in Pitt St Mall y'day organised by easternsuburbsartgroup.blogspot.com/2022/09/waterc Enjoyable to spend time doing sketching, flowers and leaves. Met up with a friend also, and we went to store in QVB to see photographic exhibition.

Raining in Sydney. Nevertheless I’m doing laundry. Watched part of ‘Squid Game’ .. Wasn’t my choice of viewing material but it’s interesting.
Now I've got my gold Opal Card I can hopefully travel for less money ... but transport workers have to agree to go to work for it to function.
Drove to city bef I had my medication almost had panic attack in heavy traffic at Broadway .. Sheesh! Survived. Did errands and picked up a friend on way home.

Went to conservator’s to pick up a book, then got pants repaired, got Covid booster, did shopping, and had haircut. Got home n swept the drive.
Picked up a Book of Common Prayer given to by my grandmother in 1960 .. Had had it repaired. Do you want it Pete?

Got sheets mostly dry and brought them in before rain started ..
Changed lower stairwell hang also this morning .. Might do more adjustments haven’t made up my mind abt spacing.

Kitchen hang updated .. put in the photo set framed last year they’re photos mum and dad took of the sea, including the view in Vaucluse (left).

Lower staircase hang, have adjusted levels to finish arrangement. The montage was last item to go in, it was made in 2008 using photos taken in Burwood. This hang might however change ..

Too many rules make ppl easily confused and undermines trust in institutions leading to social conflict .. We require rules but not so that every aspect of our life is regulated (this was how religion failed).
Gracious it’s ‘Vera’ tonight in a new series .. When will we get the prequel and who wd play young Vera?
Had some cake to celebrate birthday .. God what an amazing experience I feel like I’ve eaten the most “cake” cake ever baked. Chocolate.

Bought 3 art books today no pictures tho, one is a biog of G O’Keeffe, one is by Philip Guston, and one is about colour .. some light reading. I can only read aboit art these days, can’t concentrate on anything else.
