Dear Twitter, If I middle-click on a link on https://twitter.com , I want it to open in a new tab, not pop something up. Regards, Matt

@mattcutts I hate *hate* !!!HATE!!! sites that intercept middle click -- I want a new tab, not to lose my place on the current page.

@DigiCommsCraig middle-clicking on someone's name? I get a "Profile summary" page instead of opening in a new tab.

@SocialGamePlan middle-click on someone's name--do you get a "Profile summary" pop-up on the same page, or a new tab?

@mattcutts Works for me Matt. Middle clicking - new tab. Normal click, pop-up. Using firefox.

@withgallantry FF handles this well; Chrome's behavior in this instance was what annoyed me, but https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/middle-button-new-tab/ikbkhpkapkmhaoiabhlkmicpeakhhpip … fixes it.
