Rubberband Man might be able to bridge Silicon Valley & DC, but it would be a stretch.

Nowhere in this post do the words “Silicon Valley” appear. This is a position for “competitive dynamics driving today’s technology-driven online ecosystem.” We need to stop equating “tech community” to “Silicon Valley.”

Why do we still call them fellows? I know that your definition here isn’t “boy or man”, but the fact that “boy or man” is a definition for “fellow” is part of the problem. Can we just stop using that word? It might confuse people who don’t understand.

Yeah, that struck me odd too, when I first read it.
It sounds kind of snooty and old-school too. I'm thinking "partner" or "associate" would be a better synonym. - Show replies
