My kid enjoyed going through http://code.org at that age due to the game play aspect, then messed around with MIT's Scratch.

@khanacademy and@iDTechCamps (and their learning platform) have gotten my lad coding for the past few years. Started with JS when he was 8 or 9? Since then Python, C++ and....I'm forgetting the VR focused framework.
