One of the obvious concerns is that so many of these records are biased toward payments, not necessary health care. And padding/fraud are endemic problems, meaning much of that data may be inaccurate in terms of actual health issues.

Good news, it will probably improve care for a bunch of folks. Bad news, it will likely bias toward more care for people who take meds instead of managing their health through other means, and more specifically toward people who take expensive meds and have coverage for those.

Thank you! This is huge! Some patients talk about the color and shape of their pills, or they remember The polysyllabic generic names only by the first letter. Same with tests and doctors they’ve seen. It’s not always a memory issue. It’s an overwhelm issue.
