- LEDs are unique branding--never upside-down. Love the double-tap for battery life. - So much attention put into the hinge action resistance, machining of touchpad, etc. - of course the speed, security, stability, of software. Just enough options (e.g. to back out the touch UI)

Chromebook Pixel is dedicated to getting things right for writer/consumer. Not too thin for thin's sake and sacrificing battery life, for example. Not a yoga or detachable trying to be all things to all people. Perfect for the most common tasks I do all the time. Just perfect.

And since I've got you: - those Pixelbook bezels.. whew. - Pixel Slate. Uh. I want my Chrome OS to create, not consume. Not a fit for me. - But the Pixel 3 XL: nearly perfect. My BT devices all work! Just keep battery life top of mind. OK Google doesn't work, but all else does.
