    I never know when to show up for concerts. What's your advice?

        Many questions: When are doors? Which bands on the bill do you want to see? Do you want to get WAY up to the front?

        If it’s a tour, you can research tweets and stuff from previous shows and see if there’s a pattern. I did that for @Metallica and was pretty good at figuring out right when they came out

        I have enjoyed them the most when I showed up between 17 and 25. 😏

        If rural : Go early and tailgate in the parking lot; Else If urban : Go early and get a drink at the nearby bar; Else : Set overslept_on_couch = true;

        Gone to many concerts the past few years with my teenage daughter. Get there an hour early. Check out your seats, get something to eat, get your concert T-shirt, and then settle in. Have fun!

        Here's what you do. If a concert is playing at a venue , arrive 30 miles due south of the venue at a nice hotel run by a shy person who dislikes small talk. Then watch Netflix or do whatever young people do. Unless you like concerts in which case 1/2 hour beforehand.

        Depends on how you are getting there and how much traffic there will be. Sometimes it’s worth it to show up early to avoid the hassle. It also depends on if there are metal detectors/bag checks at the venue. Those can cause a delay in getting in.
