Thanks for the sentiment, but I believe your facts are badly inaccurate. I am currently disabled and on SSI. My monthly benefit is $1,327, for an annual income of $15,924. I do believe that is the maximum.

While this may be true, is SSI the only assistance available for people with disabilities? Could they also receive non-cash assistance such as SNAP, public or section 8 housing, Medicaid, and other types of assistance that would, at least bring them up to FPL?
