New update w/ lots of new goodies! Read about the new Support Interval and Model-weighted parameter functions in the updated and improved "Bayes factors" vignette (of which I am very proud ☺️)!

Abandon p values (and CIs), AND effect sizes... Let's not forget that anything Bayesian is LITERALLY data fabrication... Do we even need to bother collecting data? Guess I'll hand in a packet of blank pages for my PhD dissertation 🤷‍♂️

I'm going to say something in case it helps other people feel better: I still feel like a "fake" statistician sometimes because my undergrad degree is in psych not stats. Does my 🧠 care about my degrees/experience in a stats related field? No, apparently not.

One of their best episodes. Both discussions of cancel culture and generalizability were very insightful. I agree with most things that were said, but I do want to push back a little on one point. In some cases, a significant ">0" difference IS very meaningful. 1/n

The TBT plugin for has been updated! TBT allows for rejection/interpolation of channels on a trial-by-trial basis (no need to reject whole trials because of a single faulty channel, or whole channels because they were faulty on a single trial)!

This week I finished teaching *Intro to * for psych-grad students (data wrangling + principals of statistical modeling)! The course was built with no-previous-coding in mind, and I think it worked quite well! Full materials can be found here:

The ADHD trait of "a million projects" is actually an adaptive strategy for brains that very specifically can't do what they set out to. By working "sideways" on many things, you get a *lot* done—while feeling like you "never do anything" (i.e., what you're "supposed" to do). 1/

A very important milestone for the studies of timing in psych/neuro experiments. Should we now maybe close the discussion of online experiments (and also Psychtoolbox vs PsychoPy)?

If you haven't already, you really should read 's stats-book. (Note that I'm not using any superlatives - the book speaks for itself.)

I peer reviewed this package at some point. I would say that if you’re into Kruschke style Bayes, this is indispensable
