Tobi's favorite example of FIRST PRINCIPLES is a Truck driver. His truck was sat still for 8 HOURS on THANKSGIVING waiting for his cargo to be unloaded when he realized... "Why not take the WHOLE trailer off the back of my ship rather than unloading + reloading each item?"

Huge thanks also to for giving me early feedback on the idea, and for supporting the development itself.

The thing that pains me with graphql is that I see a lot, a lot of books tutorials on the "hows", getting people to know how to do something, while very little content is spent on the "why" part of it. Beginners mostly seem to think it's solve-everything use-everywhere....nope

🐙 github-tree 🌳 Makes Github’s git API easier by letting you: 1. commit objects of strings as filesystem trees, 2. convert filesystem folders to trees, 3. easily change files in the tree using async methods.

📣 I’m looking for remote work. Is there any opportunity out there? I’m a full-stack JavaScript dev. My skills include modern tech stack: React.js, Next.js, GraphQL, Prisma, GraphQL Nexus, serverless deployment with ZEIT Now, API integrations (good Stripe skills), CSS-in-JS...

Need advice: Is there a website/platform/... that you'd recommend for finding part-time (5h/week) side job? How do you find people to work on (side) projects? please rt for reach 🙂

We’ve made the decision to stop all political advertising on Twitter globally. We believe political message reach should be earned, not bought. Why? A few reasons…🧵
