Thank you for sharing! Has anyone translated the voiceover to English (for those of us who dont know German)?

-
Translation: “The decent people of the center may not step back now and content themselves with their summer gardening, e-bikes and cruise ship cabins. Now is the time to take a stand, now is the time to show oneself, such as right here, such as today. Thank you.”

Thank you!!

This is Hamburg today: https://www.ndr.de/nachrichten/hamburg/Tausende-fordern-Hamburg-soll-sicherer-Hafen-sein,demo2 … 1/2 "Thousands have demonstrated in Hamburg that the city accepts people who are saved in the Mediterranean. They demand that Hamburg should become a "safe haven".
-
2/2 The authorities should offer to accept rescued persons on the offensive and engage themselves politically in Germany and the EU for sea rescue. The demonstrators stood against the right and demanded legal escape routes."
-
Sorry, link did not work. This must be the correct one:https://www.ndr.de/nachrichten/hamburg/Tausende-fordern-Hamburg-soll-sicherer-Hafen-sein,demo2312.html …

We just spent two weeks in Germany and had a great time with no sign of any issues... you have a wonderful country.
-
Apreciate that ;) germany is a wonderful country and lovely people over and over. There are only a few spots, where are some problems growing ;(( But we will be strong and fight for our freedom ;)
-
Know that consumers support you in that fight. We are boycotting the US (obviously) but also changed our plans and didn't go to Denmark for a similar reason. You've been there and know better... some other places need to learn from their own mistakes instead, I guess.

Thank for such an important post Mathieu! I loved one of the best years of my life as an exchange student & was 99.995% always so welcomed. One idiot tried to make me unwelcome at a party and was thrown out. Media like to hype negativity. The mass majority of Germans rock

-
Yeeahh ;) thats true :) and you are always welcome, again

Danke Schön

I live in Germany and yes, we have quiet a problem with Neonazis. The AfD-Party (Alternative for Germany) gain up to 17 % in recent polls. But the majority of germans stand united against facism and Racists. We've learned our history lession

-
True words, but :( time will tell, if we really learnd from our past... Actually i dont believe

Wat vond je van die Afghaan die mensen neerstak eigenlijk
@Doorbraakeu ? -
The same thing that I think about any people who rape, murder or otherwise violently attack someone. I hope justice is served.
-
Mooi. En nu
@Doorbraakeu -
That’s it. I’m not going to judge all Afghans based on the actions of a few. If someone from the Netherlands commited a murder in Germany I wouldn’t condemn all Dutch people.
-
I agree. At least you can recognise that Afghans also make mistakes which makes you a reasonable man.
-
Woman. And I wouldn’t exactly call that a mistake. It’s horrendous. I just wouldn’t condemn an entire people for the actions of a few.
-
Not what I am saying at all, I stated that you can see flaws in both sided and if you wouldn’t be anonymous I would have chosen the gender properly
