The reason I don't want digital tools, is that I specifically want a conversation to happen when something is added. If your remote, those conversations are even more unlikely. If not a physical wall, find another way to make the conversations happen.

Proclaiming that the new idea is the same as the old idea, gives you permission not to investigate it deeply, stick to the existing reality where you are an expert in the old idea, and the new ones are merely repackaging of your insight. 4/8

When you say "Oh I get it, it's just like ...", then it probably is _not_ "just like". It's very counterintuitive, because, well that "oh I get it" feeling is intuition, not reason. You feel good about the insight, so it's very tricky to go "Oh I get it so I must be wrong". 3/8

Massively underestimated: The “cost” of people coming to work knowing things are broken & fearing the next thing breaking. This holds for usability issues, “bugs”, “quality”, elephants in the room, strategy misalignment...anything. The drag and dissonance is extremely costly.
