    Actually, what I hear in his statement is they agree he did it BUT If we hear more it will likely clearly show how impeachable Trumps offenses are and they’d be stuck. Also it was a refusal to admit he obstructed Congress.

    Kudos for saying what no GOP senator will admit: acted corruptly. But, the flaw in your logic is voting against witnesses. Just b/c you heard enough, doesn’t mean others had, particularly those saying there’s not enough evidence. You deprived them of evidence.

    I worked with other senators to make sure that we have the right to ask for more documents and witnesses, but there is no need for more evidence to prove something that has already been proven and that does not meet the U.S. Constitution’s high bar for an impeachable offense.1/15
