So,
@bterlson, not to pick at semantics, but `flat` as a non-verb feels a little icky. All other Array.prototype methods seem verbs (or iterators like forEach). Hopefully it will grow on me... -

So it was renamed because of a dead library (mootools) caused issues on a site and instead broke newer frameworks and tools like TypeScript?

On a side note, I'm surprised that Infinity isn't the default value. When I call array.flat(), I expect to get a flat array in return, not a slightly flatter array. "1" seems like such a specific case compared to the more general case of Infinity...
