I meant "explicitly" and "imply" in a less rigorous sense. It's definitely normatively required and falls out of well-defined semantics. Agree that a note in the intro prose for both Map and Set should call this out explicitly.

Yes, Map and Set are definitely more like the "ordered map" and "ordered set" data structures than the classic hash map/set.
