Last night’s dream: Spec Explaining Show.
- On the set of the old Rainbow show
- @jaffathecake was reading the SW & streams spec, explaining it as he went
- @rachelandrew then did the same for CSS grid
All after watching the @smashingconf videos, which were a perfapalooza!
-
-
I'd also settle for interpretive dance sessions of the specs.
-
I can sing the Web Sockets spec to the tune of Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now", accompanying myself on banjo, should you feel the next Google IO needs a musical theme

Bring your favorite line from spec to work day! Mine is
"Let the byte sequence to be matched be the byte sequence to be matched!" -
Mine is a tie between “suffering from being too long”, “this is called foster parenting” and “upon receiving the end tag token […] the adoption agency algorithm is invoked”. All good candidates for a magic realism story.

We could call it “this section is non-normative” (I’ve wanted to give this talk for a while)
