Anyone working on a named parameter proposal for JavaScript? I'm tired of having to [ab]use object literals for that purpose.

Most APIs are like x('Lol', 43) & you have to look up the docs. I would much prefer self-describing APIs x(name='Lol', age=43)

The problem with this syntax is that it already has meaning in ECMAScript. Changing that would break existing scripts
