@RealFavicon So adding them manually doesn’t make sense. If any non-iOS platform uses them they’d expect them to be non-rounded.

@mathias So even if a platform decides to use the precomp pic as is, it will have rounded corners, as it was designed in the RFG interface. -
@RealFavicon Yeah, that’s the problem. `precomposed` pics NEVER have auto-added rounded corners. That’s why they’re called `precomposed` :) - 2 more replies

@mathias RFG creates this pic for non-iOS devices (http://realfavicongenerator.net/faq#why_precomposed …). It is designed that way to enforce the rounded corners. -
@RealFavicon Exactly, but that doesn’t make sense. `precomposed` means: *NO* effects. Just include the file, but don’t round the corners.
