      @codepo8 I wonder why people keep using jQuery instead of vanilla JS when they only support bleeding edge browsers anyway.

      @nerdismus @codepo8 Maybe because jQuery’s syntax is approximately 9001 times easier?

      @mathias @nerdismus @codepo8 That's an argument for Zepto, not jQuery

      @_munter_ @nerdismus Same syntax. You’re missing the point. Devs use what they’re familiar with, even when it’s not the best choice.

      @mathias you know, even jQuery is JS-Syntax. You are probably talking about the DSL. +@_munter_

      @nerdismus @_munter_ You’re the one that brought up CoffeeScript.

          @mathias @_munter_ yup, because you said you didn't like the Syntax of VanillaJS, which is the same w/ jQuery. DSL is another matter.

          @nerdismus @_munter_ I was referring to DSL. Isn’t `$(s).each(fn)` more convenient than `[].forEach.call(doc.querySelectorAll(s), fn)`?

          @mathias @_munter_ but I agree on that. I like jQuery's DSL a lot, which is why my vanilla JS Code often looks as if there was jQuery ;)

          @nerdismus does API (fluent interface in this jQuery case) amount to being a DSL? (serious question)
