@mathias http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/new_features_2_0.html … says Apache 2.0 switched to PCRE, so it should use the PCRE/Perl/Java7-style \x{hhhhhh}.
@slevithan Do you know which regex flavor Apache’s mod_rewrite uses? In particular I’m looking for its Unicode escape syntax (if any).
