Apologies. I was misremembering a previous thread on this.
This seems to have the consequence of always requiring two-phase initialization if you truly want the value to be zero. this.x = -0; this.x = 0; Which is a bit annoying if you had hoped to use a class field initializer without a constructor. Any advice?
