Sometimes I really want this feature in JS: ``` if (let token = http://tokens.next ()) { // token is in scope here } ``` It makes an especially big difference with `else if` Anyone else?

Yeah understood. I *think* what I actually wanted back then with do-while is for `let` to be available after the loop (inside it can be still undefined on first run), but now I agree that it would be too much of inconsistency.
