The way V8-isms are becoming the de-facto "this is how JavaScript™ works" is perhaps even more frightening to me than the webkit/chromium/blink-dominance

I don’t think the difference between `delete array[42]` and `array[42] = undefined` is a V8-ism. It’s helpful for developers to know the difference, so they can make an informed decision. I often see devs run into holes by accident, so being explicit helps.
