“The optimization applies for the common real-world scenario where the spread occurs at the start of the array literal, e.g. [...foo].” [...x] (and not [x, ...y]) is by far the most common real-world usage of spread elements. We’re optimizing for the common case.
Does the Array.from optimization apply for DOM (live) lists?
no, the optimization only applies to known Arrays
