Hi @v8js, have you seen https://github.com/tc39/proposal-ptc-syntax/issues/23 … ? With PTC shipped in Safari more than one year ago to everyone's indifference, it looks like the arguments against it laid out in https://v8.dev/blog/modern-javascript#proper-tail-calls … don't hold water anymore. Would you mind reconsidering its inclusion?

:-) I look forward to use PTC, but I can't as long as they aren't widely implemented since they can't be polyfilled. The http://v8.dev post says they were removed because they would have confused Web devs, but no one complains about them being in Safari 1/2

that's what I meant by "indifference". The people who don't care about them didn't notice their presence. Had it been a problem for debugging, we'd have heard about it, some people love to hate Safari, and are vocal about it.
