this is a bit too much stretched, imo.
the introduction of # for privates doesn't need an introduction of `_` as prefix for public. Quite the contrary, if you want, #_private = 123 would be (redundant) somehow more justified with the historical trend of using `_` to mean private.
“_” is a universally used prefix for private instance variables, reminding it is private where it’s used in the code where a stated “private” key word is only used for declaration.
