How many people have died from measles this year? None. How many people are harmed or killed by vaccines every year? So many we can’t count. The people making money from vaccines & claiming they are safe with 0% harm liability are culpable

I recently read this from a credible source trying to calm the fears being perpetuated by media coverage. I’m not sure if there’s an emergency ... at least in CA.pic.twitter.com/9lzYZQnZlq

Here's the thing about averages. In order to have an average, there must be data points above - and below -- those figures. The areas with subpar vaccination rates are where we see outbreaks. Some counties in CA have vaccine rates lower than some developing nations.

Vaccination rates aren’t evenly spread. Check out the data on individual CA school districts. Some have near 100% vaccination rates while others are in the 60s.

The last significant measles outbreak in California was in 2015, which happened to be the year that legislation was passed which restricted the exemptions and hence is why the immunization rate is now higher in that State.

And part of the problem is the pockets of low vaccination rates. While 95% of all CA children are fully immunized overall, in 28% of school districts there are fewer than 95% of kids who are. That’s where measles outbreaks are occurring.pic.twitter.com/GbIbYuyKwX

The first cases of measles since 2012 in Sacramento, like only 2 currently, so I don't know if it's an emergency yet, but 2 cases can turn into more quickly, we DO have a lot of seniors

Currently the largest outbreak in the US is in NYC in a community that hasn’t been vaccinating their children. Not in California, the count is currently heightened in CA but not like 2015.

I work in healthcare Quality: Immunization data often does not include voluntary declinations. In other words, if there are 150 people and: 50 decline the vaccine, 96 were vaccinated and 4 did not decline/receive vaccinations, your rate is 96%. I hope that helps.
