I was once described by a student as a cross between Ray from Everybody Loves Raymond and Ross from Friends.
I once had a student who said once my differential equations were taken from me I was pretty much a normal person. Ever have a student say anything unusual about you; good, bad, funny, or just plain weird?

OUCH! ha . I had a student who always called me sport, but considering she was on the women's soccer team, I thought it might be a badge of respect ... although I never asked her.

A (sub-)group of my students used to call me “N-bot” because they came across the reams of paper I used during my PhD to calculate everything by hand ...

Sometimes when I'm on a hill or uneven ground I try to stand exactly perpendicular to the tangent plane without falling over. But otherwise, I'm pretty much a normal person.

Not a professor myself, but I'll never forget when my Applied Linear Prof told me I had an "Asymmetrical personality". I'm still not sure if it was an insult or compliment.
