I've never used one before, and I understand the criticisms but I also understand their purpose.

For some complicated functionality, it's simply cleverer to go with a solution that someone else has spent months on...

... rather than to spend only days on your own solution. I mean even as a coder you constantly use external classes made by others. :)

All makes sense and I agree; I use some behind the scenes stuff typically just not a whole 'kit'. But why reinvent the wheel right?
