I am sorry I am being a bit rant-y today, but people on the internet need to really chill out. Lately its just loads of this.
Even jam games should have a sense of polish/completion in my opinion; can't imagine releasing something like that myself.

They should. There should be no expectation for me to download an ENGINE and figure that all out as a non dev.

Absolutely; everyone has a different sense of done/polish and it's really apparent in the dev community (look at greenlight)
