When I return to a shelved project, I usually can't wait to dive back in! If you're not feeling it, maybe take a step back?
I think we burned out a bit. Took a few months off and want to get back but still maybe a bit burnt out. Still like the idea.

Anyway not sure if that helps! Beyond that, I think setting short milestones for your dev is crucial.
