I really hate the green 'Go Here' lights in the new Doom; it highlights poor level design in my opinion.

Lighting exits is a very classic design concept and is not poor level design. Simple yes, poor no.

I bet that there was a lot of debate on this subject there and prob had different ways of showing it before.

I agree it's a simple way of drawing attention but I guess seeing them all over, + spinning on doors was a lot.
