That's awesome! I've always had troubles texturing with odd-shaped UV's because I would try to combine vertices as much as possible (causing weird crooked shapes that don't line up). I'm definitely going to keep this in mind, thanks! :)

Np! In modern games, draw calls or fancy shaders are more of an issue than just pure geometry. So for the sake of your own sanity don't worry about being more generous with floating planes and cubes to get the result you need

I recently started using planes as pieces of geometry alongside anything I've created with simple cubes. That's why I like this workbench, I can see how you got that look from those elements, and added a lot of character with effective texturing and little bits of detail.
