I setup a top down controlled scene in Unreal in like 2 minutes thanks to the template and a Thai youtuber.

With Unity it took me a few hours (with animations and such), but I'm still hesitant to use Unreal by default and I think it's because I've messed around with Unity so much I'm just more comfortable with some of the systems. Plus I'm just used to some of the workflows more.

But I use Unreal every day so I'm pretty comfortable with a lot of it, I think it's just going to take some experimentation in those systems to gain more confidence in being able to take a game from start to finish from 'scratch'.
