I would have gladly paid my 60 bucks for the game even if it had no combat at all, but I might be the minority. I feel like there's this "no pain, no gain" mentality ingrained in our medium, esp. in mainstream productions. Still, I will try that boss battles again tonight ;)
You’ll get it I’m sure! Movement is a lot more important in Control combat than in most other games so it takes a bit to learn that feel. They have a cover mechanic that I don’t think I ever even used (that’s introduced during one of those first boss fights).

Sound like a good strategy, thanks! I played Watch Dog 2 before and Ubisoft really got movement and cover down to a T in comparison. Also mouse/keyboard feels more clunky: Hold E for telekinesis? But I need that finger for the D in WASD!

Ooo yeah that sounds awkward. I was on PS4 so the controls were standard. Also you might not be far enough for it to matter, but sometimes adjusting your loadout can make a difference in a fight (mods). I went half the game without changing them and felt the power when I did.
