Who remembers renting Video Games because you were too poor to buy them? I was 6 when we got the NES with duck hunt and gyromite for Xmas. My dad rented me 3 more games to play that day and it was glorious.
When I was a kid my parents would take me to Blockbuster every Friday for a weekend rental and it was my favorite part of the week. Also one year they got me a Sega Genesis for Christmas but couldn’t afford a game so they rented me Lion King as a present
